I'm not a couch potato, but I enjoy watching TV when I just want to relax.
Oh, absolutely!
It's too hot to do much else and the living room is the only cool room in the house.
I do, though I listen to music and/or read more than I watch TV.
Some good shows, Yes!
I'm finding it harder and harder to enjoy. I got rid of the TV in my bedroom a little more than six months ago, and I don't miss it at all. I live with someone who's constantly got the TV running in the living room, and it is quite aggravating. It wouldn't be so bad without all the commercials. There are still some shows that I like, I just can't stand to watch fifteen minutes of brainwashing advertisements with every thirty-minute show.
I mostly listen to music. I also have a collection of DVDs and BluRay discs, but I tend to lose focus on movies quickly. Sometimes I'll play movies in the living room while I do chores around the house, just to kinda set the mood and have some background noise... I can spend days on YouTube, though, listening to album after album of music. There's so much out there! That's much more interesting to me than TV.
I enjoy the good shows and live hockey.
It is my number one form of entertainment. This is number two.
I stopped watching TV 25 years ago
"This is number two."
It's not number two, it's a number two. A big one.
I like to watch a good movie sometimes. That's why Netflix works for me. I can't deal with TV advertising. Seriously, football games are the only TV I watch. I don't pay for TV as in cable or satellite. I have Netflix and have a way to watch sports on my computer. I'm glad to not be one of those $150/ month cable subscribers. I would do without it altogether before I would ever pay a big cable bill again.
I remember when cable TV was born. You paid each month and didn't have to see commercials. What the hell happened?
Not when I have so much to catch up on. I kinda stuck in one room at the min.
I enjoy when there is something interesting other wise i just log on a game
I liked Benny Hill, but they cancelled it.
I liked James At 16, but they cancelled it.
I liked Desert Storm, but they cancelled it.
I liked Lazy Town, but they cancelled it.
We are getting one good show about every ten years, and they always cancel it shortly after I find it.
Paul Crouch, excitable head of Trinity Broadcasting Network, was talking to Benny Hinn, soft voiced Florida preacher.
Paul: Just think, Benny, in heaven we'll have our spiritual bodies, we can travel at the speed of thought, faster than the speed of light! We can race ahead of tv signals and ... and ... We can watch TBN programs!
Benny: Paul. Are you telling me that in heaven we can watch *RERUNS*?
